Cardi B is expecting another child — something she just announced online… this hours after she filed for divorce from Detour.
The rapper broke the news on Thursday — posting a photo of herself and her bare belly on IG, and added a lengthy caption that read… “With every ending comes a new beginning! I’m so grateful to have shared this season with you, you’ve brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my energy! Refreshed my memory that I can have it all!”
She provides, “You’ve reminded me that I never have to decide between life, love and my passion! I really love you and can’t wait for you to witness what you’ve helped me accomplish, what you’ve pushed me to do! It’s so much easier to take life’s twists and turns, look back and turn around, but you, your brother and sister have shown me why it’s worth it to keep going!”
The information comes shortly after we confirmed that Cardi rushed to the courthouse and filed for termination of her marriage to Offset. Interestingly, she doesn’t mention her husband in this post… and consequently, people are in their comments rhetorically asking who the father might be.
Even before the divorce news — there were already rumors that Cardi might be expecting… in fact, we got photos of her in New York on Wednesday where her team was trying to cover it with umbrellasand of course… she really did look pregnant in those pictures. Now we all know.
This will likely be Cardi’s third child… she has two different children with Offset — Culture It is wave.
Cardi and Offset have been together for a long time — and now it looks like she’s ready to move on for good… or so we’re told.
As we’ve been telling you… Cardi is seeking primary custody of her children — and that will apply to this new child as well, assuming Offset is indeed the father.
One factor we all know for sure — despite allegations of infidelity against Offset in the past… we’re told cheating was not a factor in Cardi’s decision to call it quits.
Clearly, she’s had a lot on her plate — a divorce, a new child… and, hopefully, new music sooner rather than later. To be continued…
