The flight attendant who accused Terrell Davis of hitting him during a plane trip earlier this month was fired by United, TMZ Sports Learned.
An airline spokesperson tells us that the flight attendant — who the NFL Hall of Famer says embellished the allegations against him during a trip on July 13th from Denver to Orange County — was canceled shortly after the incident.
Initially, the company had said that the employee was being temporarily removed from work, pending a new analysis of the matter.
Davis’s attorney, Parker Stinartells us that he and Davis had received no indication that the firing had occurred… saying in a statement Monday afternoon, “This is the first we have heard of a firing.”
Despite this, Stinar and Davis say they still have a lot of outstanding issues with the airline.
Namely, they say Davis was placed on United’s “No Fly List” after the encounter. United claims that while this was initially true, it rescinded the ban shortly afterward. It says it spoke to Davis’s representatives about the whole thing and issued a public apology.
Stinar, however, said Monday that United had not contacted them about lifting the travel ban … calling the claim “blatantly false.”
Stinar added: “We continue to be disappointed by the inappropriate and disrespectful handling of this horrific incident by United’s communications and legal teams.”
Stinar previously indicated they will take legal action against United in the coming days.

For Davis’ part, he says it is still shaken about being taken off the plane handcuffed “for simply asking for a glass of ice”… and now he promises to “see those in power held accountable for this mistreatment.”
