The 46-year-old mother of two posted an adorable video on her Instagram page on Tuesday that featured current and past clips of her daughters Mabel and Evelyn, which she shares with her husband, 69, from trips to New York City.
The first clip shows a much younger person Mabel12, and Evelyn, 10, as they explore NYC hand in hand and then arm in arm. The video then transitions to other clips of the two when they are older and taller, but still walking the streets side by side.
“Don’t blink because you might miss it 👧🏼👧🏽,” Emma captioned the then-and-now video, which was posted to the tune of Frank Sinatra’s “Theme From New York, New York.”
Fans soon realized that Emma and Bruce, who got married in 2009They each seem to have a mini-me. “Little Emma and little Bruce,” one person commented. Evelyn is blonde like her father, while Mabel has dark brown hair like her mother.
Emma reposted the video on her Instagram Story, writing, “You know what they say…”, likely referring to how time flies and kids grow up so fast.
Last month, Bruce was honored on Father’s Day through a sweet Instagram carousel of old photos and recent moments of Emma, ex-wife Demi Mooreand her daughters RumeiroScout and Tallulah.
“Happy Father’s Day to our favorite girl, Dad. We love you BW!” the post read.
At the time, Heming shared the post on her Instagram Story along with an additional message for her husband: “Happy Father’s Day to this special man. I actually couldn’t even imagine him with a son. He is the best dad to all of our girls.”
In 2023, Bruce’s family revealed that he was diagnosed with FTDwhich is a dementia-related condition that primarily affects the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain and impacts a person’s personality, behavior, and language, according to Mayo ClinicThe announcement came a year after his family revealed he had been diagnosed with aphasia.
In September, Emma spoke candidly about the family’s journey with navigation in the diagnosis.
“There are so many beautiful things happening in our lives,” she shared on Today show. “It’s really important for me to look above the pain and sadness so I can see what’s going on around us. Bruce would really want us to be in the joy of what is, he would really want that for me and our family.”
