An Olympic mountain biker took a massive tumble during her race on Sunday… flying over her handlebars and crashing to the ground, in a viral video.
Loana Lecomte — a French cyclist competing in her second Olympics — was competing during the Mountain Bike Cross Country final… making good time and overcoming all the obstacles on Élancourt Hill, near Paris.

Check out the clip… Lecomte is going down a steep hill when he hits an obstacle and flips the front of the bike, hitting the ground hard and immediately going limp.
The cyclist behind her has just enough time to swerve, narrowly avoiding hitting her… but she still looks seriously injured when the cameras cut away.

A video allegedly recorded on the field by a spectator shows Lecomte being taken away on a stretcher as the gathered crowd applauds.
Luckily, photographers later caught her standing with her face bandaged with her trainer… so it looks like Loana will be just fine.

Lecomte finished sixth at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in this same event… and was reportedly in third place when she fell — so it looks like she could have won a medal this year.
Looks like she’ll have to wait until 2028 in Los Angeles.
