New cases of sheep and goat plague have been detected in Larissa and Corinth.
In particular, a new case of plague was detected in Falani, Larisa, following checks carried out in the surveillance zones of the Larissa EP.
At the same time, a new case after specific checks in Corinth, where a meeting is taking place, as there are large livestock units in the surrounding area.
Call an emergency meeting on Sunday
As indicated by ERTregarding the protective measures that will be applied in the area, they will be decided at tomorrow’s meeting which will take place at 10:00 in the Western Greece Region, in the presence of all the agencies involved.
The authorities stress that the situation is under control.
