In a separate statement to CNN, Burke elaborated on his comments about Timberlake.
“The most important fact to know about this case is that Justin was not intoxicated and should not have been arrested for DWI. The police made a series of very significant errors in this case.”

As The Shade Room previously reported, Justin Timberlake was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) on June 18.
According to TMZThe Sag Harbor Police Department (SHPD) took JT into custody. The outlet reported that prosecutors charged the NSYNC alum with running a stop sign and swerving.
NBC News claimed that JT told police he had consumed “one martini” before his arrest in the Hamptons area of Long Island.
Entertainment Tonight reveals that officers saw Justin with a “glassy-eyed” appearance and smelled alcohol on his breath. They also note that Timberlake failed field sobriety tests of standing on one leg and walking and turning. Despite multiple requests, he allegedly refused to take a breathalyzer test.
JT addressed the incident onstage at the United Center in Chicago during his ‘Forget Tomorrow World Tour’ on Friday, June 21. The artist appeared emotional as he made his first public comments about the DWI.
“We’ve been together through ups and downs, lefts and rights, and, uh, it’s been a rough week. But you’re here, and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now. I know I’m hard to love sometimes, but you keep loving me, and I love you back. Thank you so much,” JT said in front of a cheering crowd.
