Wiz Khalifa and his girlfriend, Aimee Aguilar, are officially proud parents of a baby girl!
In a TikTok video she shared on Wednesday, Aimee said she “gave birth exactly a week ago today, so I’m a week postpartum.” The “We Dem Boyz” rapper’s girlfriend gave fans a look at “what my belly looks like” a week after giving birth to the couple’s first child, a baby girl they named Kaydence.
Aimee, 29, shared that she “tanned a lot” while she was pregnant with her first child, which is why her belly looks so dark. In her video, Aimee also shared her daily routine to get her tummy back to a “flat and flat” shape. She also said that she suffered a tear during childbirth, which required stitches. And because of that, Aimee says she’s been waiting to get back to working out. The only exercise she says she’s been doing is walking around “all over the house doing basic chores.”
“I can’t wait to start working out again,” she added.
Aimee also left a message of support for other pregnant women.
“To all my other mom girls, you will get through this,” she said. “Your body will do what it needs to do in its own time. Never compare your postpartum body to anyone else’s.”
It was last month, on Father’s Day to be exact, that the couple shared that they were expecting their first child together. The “See You Again” artist took to Instagram to share the happy news.
“Baby girl on the way,” Khalifa, 36, captioned a photo of himself and Aimee as she holds a positive pregnancy test and he places his hand on her bare belly.
Two days after announcing they were expecting a baby girl, Wiz and Aimee shared a video from their baby shower, where they revealed the baby’s name.
The rapper’s ex-wife, Amber Rose — with whom he shares 11 year old son Sebastian — was excited about the news, commenting on the pregnancy announcement post: “We can’t wait to meet you!”
Wiz and Aimee have been very private about their relationship, but they have been romantically linked for about five years.
The rapper first appeared in a photo with her on his Instagram account in October 2019 and has stayed out of the spotlight.
Until now.
Congratulations!
