Check it out… the guys say Ryland had a fish on the line when the sea creature crashed into their boat, throwing it — and them — into the water off the coast of New Hampshire.
Greg says Ryland — who was in the back of the boat — cried out in surprise… because he was just feet from the whale’s head when it broke the surface, and while he was initially stunned, he soon realized the danger of the situation.
Ryland explains why he jumped overboard — and how lucky he is to have gotten out unharmed, not to mention alive.
As we told you… the U.S. Coast Guard told us the incident happened yesterday morning — and the military branch sent out an alert to other boats in the area. A good Samaritan came along and dragged the damaged ship to the coast.
Several whales have been spotted off the coast of New Hampshire/Massachusetts this month… it seems these sightings are increasing in frequency. Talk about a Moby Dick whale tale!
