Donald Trump may or may not have been hit by a bullet during the assassination attempt, according to FBI Director Christopher Wray.
Wray, as you know, testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, telling lawmakers what he knows so far about the investigation into the failed plot to assassinate Trump.

While most of the important points raised by Wray during questioning were reported throughout the day, one significant detail was somewhat buried in all the media coverage — and it’s a lie.
Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan asked Wray whether the FBI had recovered all the bullets fired by alleged assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks at Trump’s July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Wray responded: “With respect to former President Trump, there is some question as to whether it was a bullet or shrapnel that struck his ear.”
He added: “It is conceivable, although as I sit here now I don’t know whether that bullet, in addition to causing the graze, could also have landed somewhere else. But I believe we have accounted for all the shots in the cartridges.”
In a statement, Trump said unequivocally that he was hit in the right ear by a bullet after the assassination attempt. However, there were rumors early on that the Republican presidential candidate may have been hit by something else.

TMZ broke the story just an hour after the assassination attempt. A Secret Service official told our source that the agency believes Trump was hit by flying glass.
Clearly, Wray and his team of FBI agents haven’t figured it all out yet.
Stay tuned.
