Lucy-Bleu Knight, stepdaughter of Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, has he diedShe was 25 years old.
The news was shared on Sunday by the veteran musician and his longtime love, and Lucy-Bleu’s mother, Meegan Hodges, via Instagram.
“Lucy-Blue Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, half-sister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024,” the statement read.
“Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, a charming, kind and sweet soul. The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.”
No further details about Lucy-Bleu’s death, such as its cause, have been shared.
Hours after Slash (real name Saul Hudson) shared the news, a final post from Lucy-Bleu’s Instagram account went live. It has not been confirmed whether it was scheduled or posted by someone else.
“If I made you feel left out, manipulated/controlled you, told you to quit your day job for the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity – I am so sorry. Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly large ego, insecure heart, and fear of being vulnerable. May my soul learn to evolve from my crappy job of being Lucy-Bleu. Peace🌷,” the post read, accompanied by a selfie of Lucy-Bleu looking off camera.
Her mom was one of the first to comment, writing: “MY GIRL! 🕊️🤍I LOVE YOU WITH EVERYTHING. I’M SO SORRY.”
The announcement comes after Slash took to social media on Saturday to share that several SERPENT tour dates would be canceled.
Lucy-Bleu was also remembered by London, who shared the family’s statement and honored her with a graphic, featuring a photo of her with angel wings and the words: “Rest in paradise, Lucy.”
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the SERPENT tour has unfortunately had to cancel the below performances. Refunds will be available at point of purchase,” the post read before Lucy-Bleu’s death was announced.

According to the publication, the tour will resume in Toronto, Canada on July 28.
Slash and Hodges began their relationship in 1989 before splitting. The couple rekindled their romance in 2015. The “Welcome to the Jungle” rocker was previously married to Renée Suran and Perla Ferrar — with whom he shares London, 21, and Cash, 20.
