Undecided voters will be “invested” by Donald Trump, to show them that their new potential rival, Kamala Harris, left his mark on two subjects, on which he bases his potential victory in November: immigration and the cost of living, as reported by Reuters.
Trump campaign sources said he will introduce Kamala Harris, whom Joe Biden picked after his withdrawal on Sunday, as a “co-governor” on the administration’s policies that he says are behind both sources of voter dissatisfaction.
Why these axes
Trump’s campaign has vowed to tie it as closely as possible to Biden’s immigration policy, which Republicans say is responsible for a sharp increase in the number of people crossing the southern border with Mexico illegally.
The second line of attack will revolve around the economy. Polls consistently show that Americans are unhappy with high food and fuel costs, as well as interest rates that have made housing less affordable.
