“Gold leaf thrown into the sea”
Half a century since the national tragedy of Cyprus. We honor those who were lost. And we demand a united European state, based on UN resolutions. No foreign occupying armies. And as the poet says: “A green leaf thrown into the sea,” notes the Prime Minister in his post on the 50th anniversary of the Turkish invasion.
