The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergei Lavrov, criticized on Tuesday security agreements between Europeans and transatlantic allies, complaining that each of them was created to guarantee the “sovereignty” of the United States, at the expense of the countries of the European continent themselves.
Subjugation of Europe
Speaking at the United Nations Security Council, Lavrov said that “for decades”, the security arrangements in question “include the subjugation of Europe and the containment of Russia”.
“The main role in this was assigned to NATO, vol.which ended up enslaving the European Union, which was supposedly created for Europeans, and blatantly privatized the institutions of the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) in flagrant violation of the Helsinki Final Act,” he added.
