Keke Palmer talks about “cool” aesthetics
On Tuesday, Keke Palmer released a Instagram Video discussing the importance of letting people be themselves without imposing an “edgy, cool” narrative. She added that it’s okay to be silly and cringe.
“…Sometimes people are just silly, they just cringe, and that’s their trademark. And a lot of people love that. I love a little cringe atmosphere. Not everyone is trying to relax, to be excited. I don’t even like that at all. It stresses me out and makes my butt itch…” Keke said.
The Emmy-winning actress continued to emphasize the importance of accepting people as they are and embracing their unique vibe.
“It’s getting to the point where everyone wants everyone to be like smiling all the time. And it’s awesome! I just think people need to let other people be themselves. And accept them for the kind of cool vibe that they’re giving off,” Keke explained.
The actress explained that each one is “cool” in their own way.
“Everyone is ‘cool’ in their own way! The only thing that isn’t ‘cool’ to me is being mean or not being yourself. Everything else is individual and you don’t want to lose your people trying to fit in. Stand out, Pookie asshole. Let your cringe flag flyeeeeee,” Keke captioned the post.
