“Miracle baby.” That’s how a Louisiana sheriff described the 12-month-old baby who survived alone on the highway for two days in adverse weather conditions until a truck driver spotted him crawling on the side of the highway.
According to a report from the Associated Press, the baby was found a day after his 4-year-old brother was found dead and his mother was arrested in Mississippi. According to authorities, he had dozens of insect bites on his body, but was otherwise in good health.
