The passage to the grand final of the Copa América (03:00, 15/7) was won this Thursday morning by Colombia in an epic final against Uruguay.
The Cafeteros won 1-0 and will face Argentina in the game that will decide the trophy.
The match was decided in the 40th minute when, following a corner kick from Hames, Lerma beat everyone in the air and opened the scoring with a header. This was the former Olympiakos star’s sixth assist of the tournament.
After the game ended, however, scenes of embarrassment followed. Colombian fans threw bottles at the Uruguayan players and they approached the stands and picked them up!
