A two-month-old baby died when a tree branch fell on his stroller due to strong winds and the storm that hit yesterday, Tuesday, Belgium.
According to the mayor of the Ucl district of Brussels, the mother was walking with her baby in a park at around 4 p.m. when the storm broke out.
“A branch fell on the cart. The baby was taken to hospital but succumbed to his injuries,” the mayor added, speaking to the rtl network.

In many other cases, minor injuries were reported.
Brussels firefighters had carried out 86 operations by Wednesday morning, according to their spokesman, 46 of which involved various objects blown away by the wind, 22 uprooted trees and 18 operations in basements or flooded streets. Around 200 calls were still pending.
