Meagan Good has nothing but good things to say about her relationship with her boyfriend, Jonathan Majors. During an appearance on Tuesday’s episode of Today with Hoda and Jennathe 42-year-old actress spoke about the 34-year-old boy former Marvel starwith whom she has been romantically linked since May 2023.
“The support that we’ve been able to give each other, the dedication to each other, the honest conversations, the love, the respect, just the care and consideration… it’s been really wonderful,” Good told the hosts. Jenna Bush Hager It is Hoda Kotb.
Good and Majors were almost inseparable since it became public with their relationship. Good was a frequent sight at Majors’ side during his attack trial and convictionand was visibly upset after the verdict was read in December, an eyewitness told ET at the time.
In January, the Majors gave his first interview after the guilty verdict with Good morning America It is praised Good for being by his side during his trial and after it.
“She’s an angel. She held me like … a Coretta,” he said, referring to Coretta Scott King, the wife of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. “I’m very blessed to have her. You know, the relationship is still young, but, you know, I think I found her.”
Considering her legal troubles, it’s no surprise that Good says “everyone” gave her advice about being in a relationship with Majors.
“At the end of the day, one thing I know is that I can always look in the mirror when I trust my spirit, when I trust God, when I ask God and move to the beat of my own drum,” she adds. “I can always look and say, ‘OK, I’m proud of this,’ no matter what, I have peace in my heart and harmony in my heart. It’s only when I do something based on someone else saying, ‘I think you should do this.'”
Despite Divorce in Preto The star says she takes her loved ones’ opinions into account: “at the end of the day, I’m the one who has to live my life.”
“I want to be responsible for the choices I make and I want to live the life I want to live,” she concludes.
Majors was on hand to support Good as she promoted Tyler Perry Divorce in Pretoin which Good plays Ava, a young professional whose husband, Dallas (Cory Hardrict), abandons her. On Monday, the couple posed for photos together at the film’s New York premierewhere they shared some public displays of affection at the event, kissing in front of the cameras on the red carpet.
When asked if Majors has seen the new film, Well said ET“Oh yeah, we saw it. We saw the screener. It’s so crazy because the first scene is insane, (and) he was like, ‘It’s so good!’ He’s like, ‘You’re doing your damn thing!'”
Good also credited her muscular beau for her impressively fit physique, which she showed off on the red carpet in a stunning cut-out gown.
When asked about the secret to her extraordinary abs, Good replied: “Mr. Majors! He trains really, really hard.”
“That’s the added benefit of someone who is consistent,” she added with a smile. “It’s changed my life and my physique.”
