Brad Pitt is a true Formula 1 fan!
The 60-year-old actor attended the British Grand Prix to second year in a row on Thursday, following the races from the paddock at Silverstone Circuit in Northampton, England.
Pitt was dressed appropriately for the appearance in a white jogging suit and black vest. He donned sunglasses as he smiled and waved to onlookers.
It appears that Pitt’s presence in the race is related to your next F1 movieas the actor was also seen entering through a door marked “Cast Green Room”.
Pitt and Damson Idris were photographed filming scenes at last year’s British Grand Prix for the upcoming film, which is being produced in collaboration with F1 and filmed over Grand Prix weekends, giving fans a first-hand look at all the action.
In the high-octane film, Pitt plays Sonny Hayes — according to the defined photos showing his character’s garage — a retired driver who returns to F1 racing to help train a rising young star, played by Idris.
The Apple Studios film — which brings together Top Gun: Maverick‘s director Joseph Kosinski, writer Ehren Kruger and producer Jerry Bruckheimer — is called F1 and on Friday they released the first poster for the film. The movie will hit U.S. theaters on June 27, 2025.
A big F1 fan in real life, Pitt was once caught having fun at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas in October 2022, where he spoke with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton and Apple CEO Tim Cook.
