Olivia Munn is receiving lovely love of your little son on her birthday!
Munn took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a video of herself on her 44th birthday, where she was shielding herself from the heat and celebrating the occasion.
“I’m going to spend my birthday morning in a tent,” Munn began in front of her 2-year-old son, Malcolm, whom she shares with her partner. John Mulaney — can be heard off-screen declaring, “Happy birthday, Mommy!”
“Oh my gosh! Thank you so much, you’re the sweetest,” Munn responds with a beaming smile, before asking, “Can you say ‘I love you, Mommy?'”
“I love you so much,” the adorable toddler exclaims, much to Munn’s delight.
“I can go into the house and watch Red panda?” Malcolm asks — likely referring to the Pixar film Turning red — eliciting an off-screen laugh from Mulaney.
“What a year,” Munn captioned the post. “Thank you for all the birthday wishes!!!”
This has certainly been a turbulent year for Munn and her family. In March, Munn revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancerMunn explained that she had previously undergone a double mastectomy — just 30 days after she was first diagnosed — and was put into medically induced menopause. She has since undergone a hysterectomy and oophorectomy, which are procedures to surgically remove her uterus and ovaries.
Sitting with Michael Strahan about Good morning America in May, Munn said she made an effort to document much of his experience to pass on to his son in case his treatment was unsuccessful.
Munn and Mulaney were first romantically linked in early 2021, and the couple went public your good pregnancy news in September 2021. The couple welcomed Malcolm in December 2021..
ET previously spoke to Munn while she was pregnant in 2021, where she shared that she was excited to become a mother and welcome a baby into the world alongside Mulaney.
“I’m so excited to meet whoever it is and bring a little person into this world,” Munn said at the time.
