Slight hiccup for Ellen Degeneres — she canceled several of her stand-up performances shortly after beginning her multi-city tour.
Several shows on her “Ellen’s Last Stand … Up” tour in Dallas, San Francisco, Seattle and Chicago have been canceled — with a notice on Ticketmaster’s website saying, “Unfortunately, the event organizer has had to cancel your event.”
It’s unclear exactly why the cancellation was made…but needless to say, it’s a bummer for fans who were planning to attend the event at Dallas’ Music Hall at Fair Park on July 10.
Ellen’s July 21 stop in SF, July 23 stop in Seattle, and August 11 date in Chicago have also been canceled… but other dates in those two cities are still going ahead as planned.
Fortunately, everyone who purchased tickets to these shows will receive a full refund to their original payment method.
Ellen only kicked off her tour last month, using it as a platform to poke fun at her ouster from Hollywood. toxicity claims — which eventually led her to leave the program altogether in 2022.
At her most recent show in Santa Rosa, California, she refuted the allegations …saying to the crowd, “I am many things, but I am not evil.”
She’s set to reveal more details about the scandal in her upcoming Netflix stand-up special, which premieres this fall.
