Travis Kelce does not object to reuniting with his beloved, Taylor Swifton stage during his Eras Tour. After making its debut last month at Wembley Stadium during one of Taylor’s London shows, the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end is ready to take the stage again.
Travis and his brother, Jason Kelcespoke about the much-discussed cameo during Wednesday episode from them New heights podcast, where Travis teased a possible repeat appearance.
“Shout out to Tay for letting me get on stage with her,” Travis said of his girlfriend of nearly a year. “Who knows? It might not be the last time. Y’all will have to keep showing up on the Eras Tour to see if I get off stage and stuff.”
Taylor’s widely touted Eras Tour kicked off in March 2023 and is scheduled to conclude in December of this year. Travis is currently in the NFL offseason for the next three weeks before returning for the Chiefs’ training camp.
Travis’s Big Moment It happened during Taylor’s stop on her Eras tour on June 23. Wembley Stadium in London. Travis, matching Taylor’s dancers in a tuxedo and top hat, carried his girlfriend on stage. He began to watch the dancers remove Taylor’s dress, revealing a two-piece ensemble as Travis fanned himself.
Before leaving the stage and letting Taylor sing “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” Travis adorably pretended to apply makeup to Taylor’s face as she pretended to be over the whole situation.
After, Taylor wrote on Instagram that she was “still dying laughing/swooning at @killatrav’s Eras Tour debut,” adding that she will “never forget those shows.”
During Wednesday’s podcast, Travis shared what was going through his mind during the moment of making headlines.
“The only thing I told myself was, ‘Don’t drop the baby. Don’t drop this. Don’t drop Taylor,'” he shared, laughing. “The golden rule was, ‘Don’t drop Taylor. Get her to the couch safely.'”
He added that Taylor was thrilled with her appearance, saying: “I didn’t let Taylor down, so that’s what matters.”
A source recently told ET that Travis’s appearance on stage marked a new phase in their romance.
“It was definitely a new and defining point in their relationship and they had a great time getting the chance to (share) a personal side of themselves with the world,” the source told ET. “They are very happy with how it all turned out and loved seeing all the reactions from their fans.”
