100 Katyusha rockets announced today launched by Lebanese Shiite armed group Hezbollah against two Israeli army targets, in retaliation for the death, earlier today, in an Israeli attack in southern Lebanon, of one of the organization’s top military commanders, who was killed.
“As part of the response to the attack and killings committed by the enemy” in the Tyre area, Hezbollah fighters attacked with “100 Katyusha rockets” two Israeli positions in the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights.
Sirens in northern Israel
Israeli television channel Channel 12 reported that dozens of rockets were fired at northern Israel by Lebanon.
There are no reports of casualties.
The Israeli Defense Ministry announced that air raid warning sirens have sounded in several areas of northern Israel.
