A 35 years old was arrested for causing a fire in a forest area in Glyka Nera.
As stated in a statement from the Fire Department, the man was arrested as part of the spontaneous procedure, by Agents of the Directorate for Combating Arson Crimes (DAEE) in collaboration with the Hellenic Police, as being responsible for causing a fire in a forest area in the Freshwater area of Attica, while a restraining order was imposed administrative fine of 4,675 euros.
Tomorrow to the Public Prosecutor’s Office
The above mentioned person is under arrest and will be presented to the Athens Criminal Prosecutor tomorrow.
According to information from the Fire Department, the 35-year-old is one of the four people who were brought before THEM.
Furthermore, according to reports, the individuals, employees of a private company, were reportedly piloting a drone, the crash of which is being investigated as the cause of the fire.
