The Action “Strengthening business extroversion through promotion and networking actions” encourages investment projects that will affect, to some extent, the ability of companies that will benefit from the program’s resources to produce significant results in terms of sustainability and long-term employment.
The aim of the action is to promote the extroversion of companies in the Thessaly region through their participation in trade fairs organized in Greece, the EU as well as in third countries.
The Region of Thessaly is defined as the eligible geographical area of the Action.
The budget for this Action amounts to a total amount of €2,000,000.
Beneficiaries of the Action
In the context of this Action, aid beneficiaries may be existing small and very small enterprises, as defined in Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC, which, before the date of electronic submission of the financing application, fulfil some, inter alia, of the following conditions:
- They have at least two (2) fully enclosed management uses.
- They are essentially active in one (1) eligible KAD of activity included in Appendix II ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES (KAD).
- They have the eligible investment KAD(s) from Annex II – ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES (KAD).
- They already produce/process the products to be displayed.
- Have eligible KADs related to products/services that you wish to promote through your exhibition participation.
- Be active in the product that will be displayed in the Thessaly Region.
Eligible fields of activity
The Action concerns financial support to SMEs of any activity, provided that they fall within the scope and in accordance with the limitations of Regulation (EU) 651/2014 of the European Commission (“General Exemption Regulation”), as applicable.
Eligible expenses
The start date of expenditure eligibility is defined as the date of electronic submission of the funding application. Otherwise, the expenditure is considered ineligible and therefore deducted from the subsidized budget of the investment plan.

4. Transportation of Goods and Insurance Services
5. Travel, accommodation and food expenses
6. Communication services at the kiosk
- Expenses for the provision of investment monitoring and management services
Project budget
The subsidized budget for each investment project can reach €90,000, for participation in at least two (2) professional exhibitions as an exhibitor, with the maximum subsidized budget for each participation in an exhibition being €45,000.
