Severe storms hit many Balkan countries as a result two people will lose their lives in Montenegro.
“A worker died when a crane collapsed in the coastal town of Kani,” police said, adding that the victim was on top of the crane.
Another person has died after being struck by lightning on a golf course. The exact cause of his death will be confirmed by an autopsy.
Severe storms in Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia
Severe storms hit Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, leaving behind uprooted trees and huge traffic jams.
Montenegrin authorities spoke of “huge” damages, mainly in the port of Bar, where a crane collapsed, with no casualties recorded.
The storms arrived on the heels of a heatwave and wildfires that have devastated the region in recent days.
