Andrew Jury — known for being one of the many grooms on the first season of “Married at First Sight New Zealand” — is dead.
Andrew died on Thursday while in custody at Mt Eden Correctional Centre in Auckland, New Zealand… his father, Roy Juryinformed The New Zealand Herald.
The reason for the death is unclear… and prison officers reportedly rushed to save Andrew’s life.
Andrew died just hours before he was due to appear in court to face assault charges… according to his father, who also told the paper he was concerned about Andrew’s mental health ahead of the hearing.
His father said the TV star was arrested on April 2 and told the family he was “struggling” behind bars.
Andrew appeared on ‘MAFS’ again in 2017… the thing is, the dating show pairs random people together based on scientific matchmaking strategies, and they meet for the first time on their wedding day.
AJ matched with Vicky Gleeson-Stokes …however, they struggled to make their relationship work and it didn’t last past the finale. Andrew ended up blasting the show’s production.

Andrew was 33 years old.
