Most Germans are worried about winning the US presidential election. Donald Trump.
The opposite opinion is mainly expressed by voters of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) and the “Zara Wagenknecht Alliance” (BSW).
Increased concern about the possibility of a Trump election compared to March
According to a survey conducted by the Forsa Institute on behalf of the RTL and n-tv television networks, 66 percent of respondents said they were worried about Donald Trump winning the upcoming presidential election. This figure was 60 percent last March. However, 74 percent of AfD voters and 59 percent of BSW voters said they were not worried about this possibility.
At the same time, however, 77% of Germans believe that President Joe Biden is too old for a second term, while only 20% express the opposite opinion. In the March survey, the respective percentages were 68% and 20%.
