Taylor Swift isn’t afraid of a little blemish on stage. The 34-year-old pop star has shaken off a Eras Tour accident on Saturday at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, when the platform she was standing on during “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” became stuck in an elevated position.
As Swift continued singing the heart touching music from The Department of Tortured Poets album, dancer Jan Ravnik wasted no time in helping her and helping her carry her back to the stage. Swift seemed unfazed by the confusion, smiling broadly as she continued her performance.
This isn’t the first time Swift has had to think on her feet mid-show. The star has hilariously embraced a number of unplanned concert moments over the past year, dubbing them “The mistakes tour.”
Swift brought her Eras tour to Dublin for three nights, receiving a warm welcome from U2 before Friday’s show.
The “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer took to her social media and shared a beautiful note and a bouquet of flowers the band sent her. On her Instagram Story, the 34-year-old singer noted that she was “already feeling that Irish hospitality” and thanked the legendary Irish rock band “for always being the most classy and cool.”
The note read: “Dear Taylor, Welcome back to our hometown… leave some of it standing?!!!! Your Irish fan club.” The note was signed by the vocalist Bonoguitarist The Edge, bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Larry Mullen Jr.
Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelceeven made an appearance during Sunday’s show, with fans speculating that her visit may have been a surprise for Swift herself.
In images shared by Swiftie on social media, the singer illuminates when she seems to notice Kelce in the VIP tent.
After wrapping up the show, the couple were all smiles as they were seen leaving the stage together and waving to fans.
Swift is now enjoying a few days off before resuming shows on July 4 in Amsterdam.
Kelce’s final appearance on the Eras Tour show comes shortly after her stage debut in Londonwhere he joined Swift’s dancers to perform just before “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”
A source told ET last Friday, “It was so much fun for Taylor and Travis to be on stage together at her concert. It was definitely a new and defining point in their relationship and they had a lot of fun getting the chance to show a personal side.” themselves to the world. They are very happy with how everything turned out and loved seeing all the reactions from the fans.”
The source continued: “They also had a great time practicing together backstage and were so sweet and kind to each other. together.”
