In a CENTCOM posting on Platform X, it states that specific drones were found to pose an “immediate threat” to both US and coalition forces, as well as commercial vessels in the area.
“This continued reckless behavior by the Iran-backed Houthis threatens regional stability and endangers the lives of sailors throughout the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden,” CENTCOM said.
