The special edition Hero Karizma Centennial will be sold at auction
Hero MotoCorp has officially unveiled the Centennial, a special edition motorcycle based on the Karizma XMR. Announced at Hero World 2024 earlier this year, this limited edition model honors the 101st birth anniversary of Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal, the company’s founder.
Limited to just 100 units, the Centennial will be auctioned exclusively to Hero employees, associates, business partners and stakeholders. The proceeds from the auction will go towards social welfare initiatives. Deliveries of these exclusive motorcycles are expected to commence in September 2024.
Although the Centennial shares the Karizma XMR’s liquid-cooled 210cc engine and chassis, it features several state-of-the-art components. Notably, some of the body panels are constructed from carbon fiber and the handlebars, handlebar bracket, triple clamp and pedals are machined and anodized for a premium finish.
Diamond-cut 17-inch alloy wheels are paired with Wilbers fully adjustable gas monoshock and 43mm inverted forks with compression and rebound adjustment.
The Centennial’s exhaust system is a standout feature, comprised of carbon fiber and titanium components sourced from Akrapovic. Additional exclusivity comes from a unique seat with carbon fiber passenger seat cover and milled aluminum numbered emblems on the side covers. Weighing in at 158kg, the Centennial is 5.5kg lighter than the standard Karizma XMR, improving its performance and drivability.
