Three people died when their tourist plane crashed on a highway in France, police sources told AFP.
The accident, which occurred during the afternoon in the Paris area, appears to have occurred after the Cessna plane came into contact with a high-voltage power line.
No cars were hit on the highway. “The three passengers died,” the prosecutor told AFP.
The victims were “two men and a woman,” he added. The highway was blocked in both directions.
The competent authorities have launched an investigation.
