Taylor Swift made an entire Irish venue swoon with pride on Saturday night after telling them that his country was the inspiration and imagery behind his album, “Folklore.”
Taylor was performing at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium when she told the packed crowd: “‘Folklore’ in general, it just belongs to Ireland.” She went on to explain how she began writing the album 2 days into the pandemic and, “How I imagined the world of the albums would be (like) Ireland. A narrative with lots of different characters. You guys have that in mind too. That’s very Irish, the narrative.”

She said she created a fantasy in her head to write the songs, “It kind of felt like Ireland.”
She continued… “Then we’re back where we belong. The folklore belongs to you!”
His European tour is, unsurprisingly, on fire. Half a million fans were competing for tickets and there were only 165,000 available.
Taylor will play three shows in Dublin and the reception is overwhelming.
