Ground and air forces are constantly being reinforced, working to combat the fire that broke out in a forest area in Stop Attica.
The fire threatens homes located in the area.
At the moment, 40 firefighters are operating with 2 pedestrian units and 10 vehicles, while 6 aircraft and 4 helicopters operate from the air.

Barrage of 112 messages
From 112, messages were sent to residents of the region to move away from the Amygdaleza area along Stamatas Avenue towards Stamatas Square.
A few minutes later, a new 112 message asked residents of the Galini area to move away along Stamatas Avenue towards Drosia.
Through a third message sent by 112, residents of Rodopoli were advised to move away via Stamatas Avenue towards Drosia.
A new coordination meeting is currently underway at the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection.

Furthermore, due to the fire, the Police carried out the following vehicle traffic diversions:
