It’s Fulfillment Month and many celebrities are opening up about being part of the LGBTQIA+ group. For many, this means sharing how they have fully embraced their bisexual identity. Although some bisexual people believe they have been “erased” by the public who misunderstood them, celebrities such as Halsey It is Evan Rachel Madeira they spoke to give a voice to others in their group. By sharing their thoughts and feelings about being bisexual, they hope to see more role models for people like them.

1. Maren Morris
Star of the nation Maren Morris is one of the most recent celebrities to come out as bisexual. Maren, who has long supported the LGBTQ+ group, opened up about her sexuality on Instagram in honor of Fulfillment Month.
“I’m happy to be B in joyful LGBTQ+ joy 🌈,” Maren captioned a series of photos, including one where she can be seen holding a happy flag on stage.
2. Drew Barrymore
Drew Barrymore Drew has been open about her sexuality since the beginning of her career. Again in the early 2000s, Drew confirmed that she identified as bisexual, explaining that she loved being romantically involved with girls as well as men.
“Do I like girls sexually? Yes I like. Completely. I’ve always thought of myself as bisexual,” Drew reportedly told New Girl magazine in 2003. “I like a woman’s physique. I believe that a woman and a woman together are beautiful, just as a man and a woman together are beautiful. Being with a woman is like exploring your own body, but for someone else.”
3. Megan Fox
Again in 2008, Megan Fox opened up about her sexuality to GQ, explaining that she pursued relationships with girls and “will find herself in a relationship with a lady” sooner or later. While she noted that she was not a lesbian, she believed she was part of the LGBTQ+ group.
“Look, I’m not a lesbian. I simply assume that all people are born with the flexibility to be attracted to both sexes. I mean, I can see myself in a relationship with a woman – Olivia Wilde it’s so attractive it makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare fingers. She is mesmerizing,” Megan told the outlet.
While she did not come out as outspoken at the time, in 2021 she wrote on Instagram: “Putting the B in #LGBTQIA for over 20 years.”
4. Gaga Woman
Gaga Woman is a longtime supporter of the LGBTQ+ group and throughout her career, she has been open about her sexuality. After the release of her song “Poker Face”, Gaga defined that the lyrics were about being with one person, but fantasizing about a girl. Then, during a live performance in 2013, she confirmed that she was bisexual.
“You recognize what? It’s not a lie that I’m bisexual and I like girls, and anyone who wants to spin that as ‘she says she’s bisexual for publicity’ is a huge lie. This is who I am and who I have always been,” she told her followers.
5. Cardi B
Cardi B has shared that she is bisexual at many events and after being accused of queer-baiting by the media, she opened up about her sexual identity on X (formerly Twitter).
“I’m married to one person, but I’ve spoken a lot about my bisexuality and my experiences with women. Pretty soon, ‘queer baiting’ is the new phrase and people are using it to the hilt!” she he wrote.
When a follower later accused Cardi of being bisexual but never dating women, she applauded again, written“I fucked bitches before you were born… Sorry, I don’t have any good pictures on my phone to show you.”
6. Halsey
Halsey has been open about discovering she’s bisexual since the beginning of her career, but she says it wasn’t always easy to talk about her sexuality. Looking back in a speech at the 2018 GLAAD Media Awards, Halsey shared that she didn’t always feel like her identity was legitimate.
“I’m a young, bisexual girl, and I’ve spent a lot of my life trying to validate myself — to my friends, to my family, to myself — trying to show that who I like and how I really feel are not a part; they’re not part of some mess that’s going to change or can be manipulated,” she shared.
7. Lili Reinhart
In 2020, Lili Reinhart publicly declared herself bisexual – although privately she had long been open about her sexuality. Lili explained that she was inspired to come out after attending a Black Lives Matter protest, although she was already worried about what the media would say.
“I felt that since I was completely in heteronormative relationships, it might be too simple for anyone on the outside, especially the media, to vilify me and accuse me of ‘faking it’ to gain consideration. This is not something I would like to resolve,” Lili told Flaunt. “But to my close friends and people in my life, my bisexuality is no secret.”
8. Rita Ora
After Rita Ora Upon releasing her track “Women,” she faced some backlash from the LGBTQ+ community, which led her to reveal that she is bisexual and that the song was based on her own real experiences.
“Ladies was written to signify my reality and is an accurate account of a truly real and reliable experience in my life,” Rita wrote on social media. “I have had romantic relationships with both men and women my entire life and this is my personal journey.”
9. Amber Heard
Amber Heard says she was never in the closet with her bisexuality at all, but it was only when she told a reporter that her partner was a woman that the public started talking about her sexuality. While she admits it “wasn’t easy” to suddenly be identified for her sexuality, she didn’t let it affect her career and continued to land roles.
“When I hear someone comment about me showing up, I think it’s funny because I was never home,” Amber said at The Economist’s 2017 Satisfaction & Prejudice Summit. “I was always away. I was an activist. I went to protests. I refused to not take my partner at the time, but no one ever asked me about it.”
10. Sara Ramírez
In 2016, Sara Ramirez publicly came out as bisexual while speaking at the 40 to None Summit, where they were discussing youth experiencing homelessness. During the conversation, Sara explained why they felt such a connection and a desire to help these children.
“So a lot of our youth who are experiencing homelessness are young people whose lives come into contact with a lot of intersections — whether it’s gender identity, gender expression, race, class,” Sara said at the time.
They continued: “And because of the intersections that exist in my own life: girl, multiracial girl, girl of color, queer, bisexual, Mexican-Irish-American, immigrant, and raised by families strongly rooted in Catholicism on both sides of my Mexican and Irish, I am deeply involved in projects that allow our young people’s voices to be heard and that help them to proudly own their own complex narratives so that we can present them in the way they want us to.”
11. Shay Mitchell
Shay Mitchell has hinted at her sexuality over the years, but apparently came out as bisexual in a TikTok she posted in 2021. In a duet, Shay responded to a video in which a woman asked, “When you define yourself as bisexual, do you have a green velvet sofa?” In the brief clip, Shay can be seen falling backwards onto a green velvet sofa in her home. Shay didn’t caption the video, but her followers in the comments seemed to get the message loud and clear.
12. Cynthia Erivo
In 2022, Cynthia Erivo came out as bisexual for the first time in an interview with Vogue, saying it took her a long time to open up about her sexuality. When she looked back later, she explained that growing up, she knew “something was completely different,” but didn’t know what to call it.
“I don’t think I had the language to even know what was going on. It’s come much later for me now and it’s fantastic to just be me, really,” she mentioned in Kelly Clarkson’s gift. “I believe it’s kind of a creative area to just kind of let go of whatever I was hiding. I assume you don’t realize that you are doing this, putting a lot of vitality behind it. Once you’re taking the vitality out of hiding something that’s so much a part of you that you can’t hide it, you can put it somewhere else and do more fantastic things.”
13. Thandiwe Newton
Thandiwe Newton says she fell in love with her best friend when she was a teenager, and although she is now married to a man, she believes she could have fallen in love with a woman just as easily.
“I believe that falling in love is definitely more about falling in love with a person. We are all, without a doubt, bisexual; This is all determined by your circle, your upbringing and all sorts of issues. Or possibly I’m just talking about myself. I may have just fallen in love with a woman instead of a person,” she told The Advocate.
14. Evan Rachel Wooden
Evan Rachel Wooden came out as bisexual in 2012 and ended up suffering a negative reaction from the general public. While looking back on how she felt after coming out, Evan shared that she felt bisexual people were often misunderstood, belittled, and “erased” — even from the LGBTQ+ group.
“I think because we’re so often erased, people just don’t have the knowledge. There are so many negative connotations with that label,” Evan told Time. “It’s so complicated, especially when there’s not a lot of information out there… Erasure is causing people pain and diminishing self-worth and putting people in danger. It’s a real desire. I want people to know that it’s OK, it’s legitimate, and your stories matter.”
15. Auli’i Cravalho
In Auli’i CravalhoIn her first TikTok ever, she came out as bisexual. Wanting it again, she says she didn’t really intend for it to be a highlight video, as she had already come out to most of her associates. Although she wasn’t sure how the public would receive the video, she said she was pleased with everyone’s constructive reactions.
“I came out on TikTok. The funniest part for me was that I had female friends in high school. I believe women are cool, but I didn’t think it was crucial to come out,” she told Leisure Weekly, later adding: “Fans are too happy to accept another gay person.”
16. Vanessa Carlton
Vanessa Carlos She has remained very private about her sexuality, but when she performed at a beauty pageant in Nashville in 2010, she revealed that she was bisexual in front of a crowd of over 18,000 people.
“I’ve never mentioned this before, but I’m a proud bisexual woman,” Vanessa said on stage.

In 2016, Aubrey Square opened up about her sexuality while talking about being hit on by other girls. Aubrey defined that she didn’t really care and had actually had crushes on girls before.
