“I’m not hiding, I’m not afraid, I’m coming forward and asking for your support. Let’s win now. The objective is not to beat Kasselakis, but to defeat ND in the next national elections. We don’t need a messiah, we want leaders who put “together” into practice”, he said Harry Doukas from the KE stage by PASOK-KINALeffectively formalizing his descent to the party’s internal elections on October 6.
I ask for your support to make PASOK a governing force again, the mayor of Athens stressed, arguing that he is running because “circumstances dictate when”. Time has rips and cracks and is not static as some people think. Now the Mitsotakis government is being dismantled at an extreme pace. Now abstinence is unprecedented and people are turning their backs on the political system and being led to extreme paths. As far as I am concerned, I will take on and face this responsibility.”
However, Haris Doukas supported Nikos Androulakis’s roadmap: “our opponents are not inside this room, they are outside. In a climate of unity, I agree with Nikos Androulakis’s roadmap.”
PASOK: Internal party elections on October 6th proposed by N. Androulakis
Doukas insisted that he will continue to be Mayor of Athens regardless of the result: “it is a mutual advantage for the city and the Movement. It is a European collection that strengthens the institution”.
“The goal should be to defeat ND, not Kasselakis”
“In the municipality of Athens we are fighting a big battle that most people considered lost. Not to win Kasselakis, but to defeat ND in the next elections. We don’t need a messiah. We need a leadership that will make this happen together. No one can do it alone. This plan and these goals I can serve. I am not hiding, I am not afraid, I am coming forward and asking for your support,” said Haris Doukas.
“We have to make PASOK-KINAL great again. Return to being a party of members and not of executives and mechanisms. Let’s give everyone a role.”
“Mitsotakis is involved in PASOK’s internal affairs”
Harry Doukas he insisted on his statement a few days ago what Mr. is involved in PASOK’s internal parties: “The Democratic Party cannot remain silent when Mr. Mitsotakis tries to interfere in the election of the president.”
Finally, Doukas argued that Mitsotakis will not leave, with 13 and 15% of the parties against him. “To show ourselves worthy of the PASOK of Andreas Papandreou of change, of Kostas Simitis of modernization, of Giorgos Papandreou, of Vangelis Venizelos, of Fofi Gennimata and of Nikos Androulakis who have strengthened our percentages.”
