Auditors from the Independent Public Revenue Authority have closed the Kyparissia beach bar for 48 hours.
The auditors carried out the audit with the modern Audit-live tool at their disposal, which gives them access to the tax profile of companies, wherever they are, and, combined with the in-person audit, discovered how the owners who were illegal.
The operation of cash registers has been declared suspended
The business began operations on 05/15/23.
The receipts were issued by two cash registers, declared out of service, with a self-delivery declaration. Despite this, they continued to operate normally, issuing receipts.
During the audit, it was found that none of the machines had transmitted data to e-send since the start of operations (May 2023). Even so, the business did not have an active POS.
Z’s control revealed that a total of 17,500 receipts were cut, for a total value of 193,000 euros, together with VAT of 24,100 euros.
Fine of 13,050 euros
In addition to the lockout, the company was fined a total of 13,050 euros (12,050 euros correspond to 50% of the value of VAT, which was charged but not returned, and 1,000 euros for not declaring the machines to AADE).
At the same time, the company’s books are audited over the years in order to record its tax behavior.
It is worth mentioning that this business belongs to a local businessman. At the same address, he ran a business in the past. It had already been checked and tax infractions were again found.
