“The anguish of the party’s media workers cannot be transformed into a cheap commodity for internal party consumption,” party circles say Alexis Tsipras, in response to reports that after the suspension of publication of the daily newspaper “Avgi” and Kasselakis’s call for reinforcements was not among those quickly responded to
The former Prime Minister’s entourage adds that “the leaks that Alexis Tsipras did not respond to a letter he received just 24 hours earlier and while he is abroad they reveal vulgarity with which those responsible deal with sensitive matters.”
The same circles report that “Al. Tsipras considers It goes without saying that when he returns he will contribute to financial support from Avgi”, adding that “but it will not contribute to the games with their lives”.
Only two
The former prime minister’s environmental backlash came after reports that only two deputies responded to Stefanos Kasselakis’ appeal to party deputies to contribute financial aid to strengthen the historic newspaper.
The same reports state that the current president of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance sent a “separate letter to Alexis Tsipras”, in which he also asks him to contribute, “However, the former Prime Minister did not respond.”
