In a second tweet, Harris addressed Trump and questioned whether his integrity was in line with being head of state. “In a true leader, character is more important than style, and Donald Trump simply does not have the character to be president of the United States,” she wrote.

Additionally, Kamala followed up with a tweet highlighting what she felt was the difference between Biden and Trump. She said, “Last night, @JoeBiden made it clear that this election is a contrast between someone who lies and someone who leads.”

Barack Obama’s comments on Joe Biden’s debate performance
Obama sympathized with Joe and gave some advice to the American people via X the day after the debate. The 62-year-old wrote:
“Bad debate nights happen. Believe me, I know. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary people his entire life and someone who only cares about himself.” He continued, “Between one who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it directly to the American people — and someone who blatantly lies for his own benefit. Last night didn’t change that, and that’s why there’s so much at stake in November.”
He added the link to Biden’s website at the end of the tweet.

President Biden admits to verbally stumbling during debate performance
President Joe also commented on his performance during a June 28 rally in North Carolina. The 81-year-old said: “I know I’m not a young man. I know… state the obvious. The crowd began to applaud loudly and chant his name.
He continued, “I don’t speak as well as I used to… but I know how to tell the truth.” Biden reassured his supporters, “I know what’s right and what’s wrong and I know how to do this job.” The President declared passionately: “…I know as millions of Americans know — when you get knocked down, you get back up!” The crowd roared in response to his statement.
