Martin Mull — famous for his work on “Roseanne” — is dead.
The longtime actor died Thursday at his home after a long illness… according to his rep, Jennifer Craig.
Martin played Leon Carp on “Roseanne” back in the day, appearing in 46 episodes. He was also a regular on “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” and had a recurring role on “Two and a Half Men.”
He made his television debut in 1976 in the comedy soap opera “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman” and starred alongside Stephanie Faracy in “His and Hers”, 1990.
In film, Martin is best known for playing Colonel Mustard in 1985’s “Detective.” He also had roles in “Inside” and “Miss Mom”… among other films.
Daughter of Martin, Maggiesays his late father “was known for excelling in every creative discipline imaginable and also for doing Red Roof Inn commercials. He thought that joke was funny. He never stopped being funny.”
In addition to acting, Martin has also painted, published a book, and made several comedy albums that have been nominated for Grammys.
He leaves his wife, Wendyand your daughter.
Martin was 80 years old.
