Flau’jae releases new album
According to TMZ, Johnson released his new album, ‘Best of Both Worlds’ on Friday, June 28th. The outlet reports that the nine-track album includes collaborations with rappers Wayne NLE Choppa, It is 2Rare.
Flau’jae’s new single with Lil Wayne, ‘Came Out A Beast’, marks their first collaboration. Complex reports that the basketball star and rap legend spit verses over Dolla Baby’s production, talking about embracing beast mode and his roots.
During her interview with Complex, the athlete expressed gratitude for working with Wayne, citing how the collaboration motivated her to hone her rapping skills.
“Working with Lil Wayne on ‘Came Out a Beast’ was a surreal experience. His energy and talent took me to new heights.”

TMZ revealed that the LSU guard had long wanted to collaborate with Wayne. She expressed interest in a song with the legendary spitter last year, and they finally met at the 2023 Essence Festival months later.
Flau’jae stated in a press release from Complex that his latest project integrates his rap and basketball skills.
“I love combining my two talents. ‘Best of Both Worlds’ shows that you don’t have to choose one path – you can excel in multiple areas. This project reflects who I am – a basketball player, a rapper, and someone who refuses to be put in a box. I hope my fans can feel the passion and dedication I put into each song,” Flau’jae said.

Flau’jae has fully embraced the music industry since 2019, releasing projects and securing a deal with Roc Nation alongside her burgeoning basketball career. In May 2017, she released her first single, ‘Why Dey Hatin.’
However, in 2023, she officially made her mark in music by releasing her debut EP, ‘4 My Fans’. The project contains thirteen tracks and features artists VaiJunho It is Skooly.
