Here’s Why Social Media Thinks Megan Thee Stallion Dissed Nicki Minaj
On Friday, June 28th, Megan Thee Stallion released her latest album, ‘Megan’.
According to HipHopDXthe 18-track album is reportedly “mixed with multiple shots” at Minaj. TMZ adds that the second track on Meg’s new album, ‘Rattle,’ features new verses allegedly directed at Minaj.
In the song, Meg supposedly raps:
“I ain’t got no tea on me, that shit thinks she TMZ”
About that, HipHopDX adds that Meg also rapped:
“I wanted everyone here with me / But it was my fault, being too friendly / I was thinking everything was fine / But all along, you were my enemy… Damn, bitch, it’s been four years / Worry about your man and your son / Your life must be boring if you still remember the shit we did.
The outlet adds that Meg’s lyrics appear to reference a 2020 song she was featured in titled ‘WAP’. HipHopDX then adds that the rapper also apparently tried to get Minaj to bring out other female rappers during her ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour stop in Boston in April.
“And I ain’t worried about the bitter bond / Y’all earned them places in the fan club,” Meg reportedly rapped.
As The Shadow Room previously reported, Minaj brought out JT, BIA, Katie Got Banz, Maliibu Mitch and Akbar at the time.
According to HipHopDXMeg’s alleged criticism of Minaj continues on the album’s third track, ‘Figueroa’.
“I’m a motherfucking brat, not a Barbie / Go with any bitch that wanna start,” she sings.
To note, Minaj refers to her fanbase as “Barbz,” for Fan club.

There is no growth when it comes to Megan Thee Stallion’s beat selection, flow, or creativity. This album sounds more like a mixtape. There are a few doses of Nicki Minaj, but it’s not really hitting, it’s a MID album, it’s not trash, but it’s mediocre, typically Megan.

A brief recap of the duo’s latest rap exchange
As The Shadow Room previously reported, in January, the duo went viral after Megan released ‘HISS’, and seemingly took aim at other female rappers for wanting to sound like her.
Soon after, Minaj took to Instagram Live to preview a song called “Big Foot.” On the track, Minaj rapped about a rapper who won three Grammys but couldn’t “find” the beat. At the time, it was confirmed that Meg had already been nominated for six Grammy Awards and won three, for The Shadow Room.
