A baseball fan who went to the College World Series is calling out ESPN for pointing cameras at her while she ate ice cream — because the scene went so viral that she’s being compared to the “Hawk Tuah” woman.
In case you missed it… during Monday’s baseball national championship, ESPN cameras zoomed in on two girls in the stands quickly licking their ice cream, rushing to finish it before it melted in the 90-degree heat.
The video spread across social media like wildfire… with some of us leaving some express comments about the girls, including several References for “Tuah Falcon”.
One of the many female followers, who passes by Ana J. on TikTok, is once again attacking ESPN for overly sexualizing her and other women at sporting events.
Annie says ESPN cameras panned to her and her friend seconds after they sat down with their ice cream cones…and she’s blasting the play-by-play commentator Karl Ravech and his co-broadcaster for their “bizarre” comments.
In the printout, Ravech says… “You have to catch it before it melts. It’s liquid.” His partner adds, “On a night like tonight, you’re working fast.”
Annie says ESPN knew exactly how the video could be interpreted by many on the internet… and she feels this is yet another example of women not being welcome in the world of sports.
In a 5-minute TikTok rant, she gives the finger to ESPN and slams the “weirdos” on social media who reacted to her viral moment.
We reached out to ESPN… so far, no word again.
