Mike previously told us he wanted to fight Jake bare-knuckle, but said that wasn’t a good idea for Paul, who he says doesn’t want any part of that setup.
However, the MP has an idea.
“Jake can take his gloves off and I’ll put them on, and I’ll still beat the crap out of him,” Paul said. “He can fight me bare-knuckle and I’ll punch him with 12-ounce gloves.”
That’s it, we’re waiting for your permission to upload Instagram media.
Perry and Paul have some history… they trained together briefly a few years ago, though Mike says he doesn’t think he’ll shine too brightly in the sparring session. However, it was enough for Mike to know that Jake’s right-hand man could very well be a potential problem.
“I know his right hand. I understood it again when he hit me; that’s his little thing, and I understand it. I’ve also acquired some shots that I’m really good at. Each of us will enter a battle. It’s going to be a fight, and it’s going to be a test of wills.”
Perry, at the end of the day, predicts he will finish Paul in the seventh round.
“If he’s stressing me out to try to get me out of there, I’m going to get him out of there faster,” Perry said. “When it comes to adrenaline, and that night on July 20th, I will be a problem for anyone on this planet.”
