Justin Timberlake is currently enjoying the Big Apple on foot. The singer decided to ditch the car and stroll the streets of New York on Thursday as she headed to golf lessons.
In photos obtained by Page sixTimberlake, 43, can be seen walking with a caddy — who has his golf bag over his shoulder — as Timberlake enjoyed some time off. his Forget Tomorrow world tour.
Timberlake wore a vintage graphic tee, blue basketball shorts and a teal golf cap, while his striped shirt-clad associate followed closely behind.
The golf outing comes just one day after Timberlake wrapped up his tour in New York, after he performed two nights in a row to sold-out crowds at Madison Square Garden — and before his tour continues in Boston on Saturday.
It also happens after the singer has been arrested on June 18 in Long Island, New York, on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
A Sag Harbor police officer observed him driving a gray 2025 BMW and failing to stop at a properly posted stop sign and remain in his lane. According to Page Six, the officer also said Timberlake told him the arrest would “ruin the tour.” When the officer asked what tour he was referring to, the singer replied, “The world tour.”
“A traffic stop was initiated by an officer from the Sag Harbor Village Police Department and upon investigation it was determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle while intoxicated,” a statement from the police department read. “Upon contacting (Timberlake), it was determined that (he) was operating the said vehicle under intoxicated conditions, as his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emanated from his breath, he was unable to divided attention, he had slow speech, was unsteady, and performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.
Timberlake stated that he had “a martini”, which was later corroborated by the bartender who served him.
“Justin is feeling regretful, ashamed and humiliated, but also responsible,” a source told ET, adding that Timberlake “doesn’t believe he needs help when it comes to alcohol,” instead seeing the incident as a “huge lapse in judgment.”
A source told ET on Thursday that Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel — who was present to support him at both MSG shows – are “doing great” more than a week after their arrest.
The source told ET that “they both know and understand that everyone makes mistakes and that mistakes don’t define people.”
“Jess knows Justin is a great husband and father, and a wonderful person with the best intentions,” the source added. The couple have two sons — Silas, 9, and Phineas, 3.
The source said Timberlake “is putting his energy into impressing his fans with amazing shows and trying to move forward. Jess is feeling focused and centered during filming and isn’t letting this situation get in the way. Their kids are also at the forefront of their minds, as always, and they are shielding their children from any negative media attention.”
Days after Timberlake’s arrest – which dominated headlines – the singer spoke out about his arrest during his tour in Chicago.
“We’ve been together through the ups and downs, through the lefts and rights and, uh, it’s been a tough week,” Timberlake said. says in a video shared on social media. “But you’re here. I’m here… I know I’m hard to love sometimes, but you keep loving me and I love you back. Thank you so much.”
