Deadpool and Wolverine …and Sabretooth?
Check out who just joined Marvel Cinematic Universe. Who should show up to fight Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in the latest Deadpool and Wolverine trailer, but none other than his old arch-nemesis Sabretooth.
And we’re not talking about the smooth, tough Sabretooth played by Liev Schreiber in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. We’re talking about the hairy and bizarre Grizzly Adams cosplaying as Sabretooth from the first X-Men in the year 2000, played by Tyler Mane. I really never expected to see this design on screen.
But I guess that’s part of the fun of it. Deadpool and Wolverine; there will be a very surprising Fox X-Men cameos. (Not that this one is any more surprising; they just ruined it.)

Earlier this week we also learned that it was Hugh Jackman, who was the first to propose the idea of a Deadpool/Wolverine filmafter director Shawn Levy and star/producer Ryan Reynolds struggled to come up with a satisfying premise for the third Dead Pool film. Jackman, on a break The Music Man on Broadway, realized he wanted to do the movie, called Jackman and Levy, and then they pitched him to Marvel’s Kevin Feige in a Zoom meeting. The rest is history.
Deadpool and Wolverine is scheduled to open in theaters on July 26th.
