On the outside, designers added a revised front fascia, new 19-inch dish-style wheels, an electronically controlled charging port cover, and headlights with micro-lens technology. The technology uses thousands of tiny lenses to focus the light emitted by an LED, producing brighter, more homogeneous illumination.
No changes were mentioned for the powertrain. Currently, the Electrified G80 is powered by a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain that delivers 365 hp. An 87.2 kWh battery pack is fitted as standard and is estimated by the EPA to provide a range of 282 miles.
Genesis has confirmed that the updated Electrified G80 will be available for the 2026 model year in the US, meaning it’s likely to arrive in showrooms next year. Specifications for this market will be announced later.
