It was extinct the fire that broke out this morning at the Danish Tax Ministry, in central Copenhagen, although no injuries were reported, the city’s fire department said.
“We still have small fires on the roof, but we have controlled the situation and the fire is no longer spreading,” Copenhagen fire service incident manager Tim Ole Simonsen told Reuters.
It was not immediately clear what caused the fire.he said, adding that police would investigate.
In April, a fire broke out at the old Copenhagen stock exchange, a 10-minute walk from the Ministry of Taxes.
The Tax Ministry office complex was evacuated, as were other neighboring buildings, police said.
“Everyone is safe, no one was injured”said Simonsen.
