The decision of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports to address economic illiteracy by introducing an extra course in the 1st Secondary School for basic financial numbers and tools Kyriakos Pierrakakis announced at the 5th International Conference of the Greek Chamber of Commerce.
The decision was made public by Mr. Pierrakakis with his post:
“As part of my participation in the 5th International Conference of the Greek Economic Chamber, I had the opportunity to present our plan to the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports regarding financial literacy.
From September 2025, with a complementary course on values and basic financial tools at the 1st Liceu and with a targeted enrichment of the Skills Workshops, students will acquire useful knowledge to face future challenges more effectively. pic.twitter.com/uM03FhDVoD
