Gallad concluded his visit to discuss the next phase of Gaza’s war against Hamas militants, the escalation of hostilities with Hezbollah fighters on the border with Lebanon that have raised fears of a wider conflict, and the joint concerns of USA and Israel over Iran’s nuclear program.
The Israeli minister made the remarks after meeting with Jake Sullivan, President Joe Biden’s national security adviser, at the end of a visit that was also attended by Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and his counterpart Lloyd Austin.
